Welcome to the Kenwood poetry blog!

This blog showcases the original poetry of some of Kenwood Academy High School's Senior Class.

The diversity of the student body is mirrored in the diversity of the poetry; some poems are lighthearted and others are quite personal and serious. While the poems incorporate a variety of styles and themes, they are all inspired by the poetry that we've studied in class.

Man paper

Smaller than the biggest blue.
Im inbetween like clouds of hue.
My path is green like heads of greed.
My trail is lost like him unseen.

These chains are Golden.
Looked upon eyes of frozen.
Trialed by the Gods, my soul has turned to rosin.
And from that dust I'm the winged one
Destinys clear
And i'm the one who's Chosen.

No longer inbetween
But above and beyond like tales unspoken.
I am the Wind.
And these wings gave breeze, Stifling in one motion.
