My eyes closing
while viewing the true meaning.
That I could grab with my hands
cold like ice melting.
My eyes closing
The open doors greeting me made it so
that I could never leave.
Like home.
True love that could never part.
My eyes closing
they told us never to see.
Like the tree that seas every season
we hung togather in the black.
My eyes closing
The hole thing happen.
I was never there to meet the other half.
So great, so real, so special to me
We were meant to be.

Welcome to the Kenwood poetry blog!
This blog showcases the original poetry of some of Kenwood Academy High School's Senior Class.
The diversity of the student body is mirrored in the diversity of the poetry; some poems are lighthearted and others are quite personal and serious. While the poems incorporate a variety of styles and themes, they are all inspired by the poetry that we've studied in class.
