Things on your heart
and it just sit
The truth comes out
cause the lies wont let it fit
harmful words
can make someone cry
broken up relationships
will make someone wish they will die
sometimes love can be a
discontinued promise
at a certain point of time
you thought they was honest
your ex is your scar
and your chosen one will be your star
still got pictures under the glass
from people in your past
suppose to be first
but always end up last
tissue & food
is your bestfriend
when someone suppose to be there
say its the end
now the feeling is lost
they broke your heart and how there
paying the cost
now moving on
with the experience of being alive
your ways has changed
but still act like their five tears rolled down
your cheeks for 52 weeks
you was strong but you got back
weak thats the time your
heart speaks.

Welcome to the Kenwood poetry blog!
This blog showcases the original poetry of some of Kenwood Academy High School's Senior Class.
The diversity of the student body is mirrored in the diversity of the poetry; some poems are lighthearted and others are quite personal and serious. While the poems incorporate a variety of styles and themes, they are all inspired by the poetry that we've studied in class.
