Welcome to the Kenwood poetry blog!

This blog showcases the original poetry of some of Kenwood Academy High School's Senior Class.

The diversity of the student body is mirrored in the diversity of the poetry; some poems are lighthearted and others are quite personal and serious. While the poems incorporate a variety of styles and themes, they are all inspired by the poetry that we've studied in class.

The Untamed

Confused and disoriented feeling lost and abandoned.

In a world not seen from the outside in, but a world looked out from inside out.

Ideas shattered thoughts shot lost and confined.

Never allowed to express only able to confess how bad things continue to progress.

Minds being trained and tamed like a caged animal.

A beast like creature locked down and shunned away from its natural way of life.

However, it will not accept defeat and refuses to meet the standards of the tamed.

Finally released and free just find out that their all alone in a world were hardly anyone can remember their name.Although free still feeling lost in a world now seen from the outside in instead inside out.

Now able to live their own life and express it to the highest height.

Untrained and untamed with no fame but a plan to make a difference inside the cage that every body is locked down to believe they live in, in a life they never lived in.

Not knowing it was somebody else’s plan not even considering to think up their own plan to become free so they will able to see.
